Religiously committed students often take religion seriously as a category of human experience, and they understand the role of religion in shaping human thought and behavior. Instructors can use this to their advantage by introducing topics with religious themes. International students and those of other faiths are often eager to learn, and are appreciative of the educational opportunities available to them. Despite possible linguistic barriers, they are often very serious students. Indeed, their very presence in our classrooms enrich the entire university community. |
