Quality Matter certifications met in Spring 2010 for EDU507/GEOG507 Geography for Teachers as developed by Kay Gandy AMS630 Ethical & Legal Issues in Technology as developed by Mark Doggett.
Wren Mills, Instructional Coordinator, was nominated for the KCTCS New Horizons 2009-2010 Faculty Award of Excellence (in her prior position).
Sally Kuhlenschmidt, director, received the 2009 Robert J. Menges Award for Outstanding Research in Educational Development from the Professional & Organizational Development Network in Higher Education, the national/international organization for faculty developers.
Sally Kuhlenschmidt also received the 2009 Bob Pierlioni Sprit of POD award in recognition of "members who have made selfless contributions through their long-time professional service to the organization and the field." Typically one award is given annually and some years there are no awardees.
FaCET staff (Nancy Givens, Barb Kacer, Sally Kuhlenschmidt, Pat Ault) received the Recognition Award in the Innovation Award competition from the Professional and Organizational Development Network in Higher Education in October 2008.
