American Democracy Project: PC Screensavers for download

The Following are screensavers for WINDOWS Computers that you can download. (I'm told that newer Macs equipped with the "Boot Camp" public beta software for running Windows would also be able to run them.)

• Preamble of the Constitution (preamble.exe against background with stars)

• The Bill of Rights (adpbillofrights.exe; a list of the Bill of Rights against a flag background)

• Illuminated Letters (illuminatedletters.exe; a collection of civic engagement quotations with decorated capital letters)

And instruction for installation are:

1. Click on the file name above and you'll be prompted to save a file on a disk or your c drive. (Remember where you put it!)
2. Open My Computer or Windows Explorer, find the file and double-click on the file name.
3. It will provide you with instructions for installation.
There is one step which is trying to sell you the software. (You'll see "To make your own screensaver....") You can bypass that with no harm to the installation.

Instructions for uninstallation are:

• Goto start menu>control panel and in control panel click the Add/Remove Programs, then you will see adpXXX, now select this and click Remove Tab, that's how you uninstall this screensaver.

At the current time we only have software to make screensavers for PC computers.
