Quotations for College Faculty: Quotation selection and categorization reflects my particular sensibilities and have been found in a wide variety of sources. Categorization
Searching The categories do overlap so you might find the same quote in several locations. If you are seeking a particular quote, select the Search button at the top and follow the directions on that page. It is possible to display all 3,000 quotes on the Search page. The database of quotations is shared across several quotation websites with different themes. Sorting Quotes are sorted alphabetically by the quote, with punctuation marks first (e.g., …), then numbers, then text. To submit additional quotes or to make corrections, click on the mail link in the lower left. This is a very large database and your screen may flicker while a page is loading. I advise against printing out the pages unless you have many sheets of paper to spare. We hope you find this to be a useful resource. Simply reading through a collection is an enlightening process.
