It didn’t take “525,600 minutes” to get to the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, but it felt like it to 51 students and faculty travelling to Nashville, TN to see the ever popular Broadway show RENT. On March 28, 2008, those signed up were gathered onto a charter bus and sent on their way. A fee of $25 dollars covered a meal at the New York delicatessen restaurant Noshville and a ticket to the show – what a steal! On the way back to campus, someone popped in the movie version and little hums could be heard throughout the bus. All of the attendees claimed that it was a trip well worth the money! |
