Tickets were sold out within days when the Honors College offered to take students to the Tennessee Performing Arts Center for their showing of Broadway’s The Lion King. Nearly 50 students boarded a charter bus and headed to Nashville for a night at the theatre. But before the show, the group stopped for a unique dinner at an Ethiopian restaurant, where all students ate authentic African food in the traditional African manner— with their hands! Even President Ransdell and his wife, Julie came along for the night. |
