Honors Student Wins Homecoming Queen

Rachel Reetzke of Franklin was crowned 2009 Homecoming Queen on Saturday November 7th 2009. She, along with three other Honors students made up the Homecoming Court that night and we are all very proud of their accomplishment!

Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship Recipient

After spending a summer studying autism in China, Honors College student Rachel Reetzke, a senior communication disorders major from Franklin, Kentucky, will spend a year at the University of Cambridge, her first choice as a recipient of the Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship.

The Chinese Flagship Institute Pilot Program

WKU announced its participation in a new program on Oct. 15. The Chinese Flagship Language Institute Pilot Program is an intensive, four-year Chinese language program funded by the U.S. Department of Defense.
