On Feb. 7, four members of the WKU Student Government Association journeyed to Frankfort to protest cuts to postsecondary education.
All three branches were represented by the delegation.
Mallory Treece is a Student Senator and Chris Jankowski is an Associate Justice. Kendrick Bryan and Cory Dodds serve in the executive branch.
Over 300 students from across the Commonwealth attended the event to rally for college affordability.
Students also had the chance to meet with legislators. The WKU delegation scheduled a meeting with Rep. Jody Richards.
Richards teaches at WKU and he formerly presided over the State House of Representatives.
All eight public universities were represented at the two-hour event. Four mascots were also present.
