It has been downloaded 685 times. The research was published in the <em>International Journal of Organizational Analysis</em>.<br /><br />In addition, the Social Science Research Network has noted that combined with his other work, scholars from across the globe have downloaded research by Dr. Rahim 2,417 times. In response to regional and national needs, the department is seeking a top teacher and researcher in operations  and supply chain management. The recently proposed international business major has prompted a search for a scholar in the international business/strategic management area. Growing enrollment in the deparment's highly successful human resources major has created the need for a faculty member in human resources. Under Dr. Simpson's direction, SIFE students are gaining experience in developing the business concept, initiating marketing efforts, and overseeing the daily operations of a new print center at Western Kentucky University. The conference was held July 19-July 22 and included 124 research papers, workshops, and symposia from participants from around the world. <br /><br />Among the outstanding researchers presenting at the conference, two of our own faculty--Dr. Paula Potter and Dr. Brian Sullivan--collaborated to present a paper on organizational justice and political change as well as a paper on the relationship between organizational justice and U.S.-Latin American relations. Dr. Spiller will teach courses in organizational behavior and leadership in the Department of Management. Dr. Marvell will teach courses in innovation and entrepreneurship in the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.<br /><br />Dr. Spiller comes to WKU from Morehead State University where he was Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior. He has an outstanding record of achievement including research publications in notable journals such as </span><span style="color:#000000;"><em>Journal of Business Ethics</em></span><span style="color:#000000;">, </span><span style="color:#000000;"><em>Psychological Reports</em></span><span style="color:#000000;">, </span><span style="color:#000000;"><em>Teaching Business Ethics</em></span><span style="color:#000000;">, </span><span style="color:#000000;"><em>Psychological Reports</em></span><span style="color:#000000;">, and </span><span style="color:#000000;"><em>Review of Business Research</em></span><span style="color:#000000;">. His primary teaching interests are in the areas of leadership, ethics, communication, and organizational behavior.<br /><br />Dr. Marvel was formerly co-founder and vice-president of a technical training and consulting firm. He has consulted for organizations such as John Deere, Pfizer, TRW, and Digital Audio Disk. He received the Kauffman Dissertation Fellowship for his research examining how technology entrepreneurs use knowledge to construct radical innovation. His research was recently accepted for publication by the acclaimed journal, </span><span style="color:#000000;"><em>Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice</em></span><span style="color:#000000;">.<br /><br />Please join us in welcoming these two outstanding faculty members.</span>]]></content:encoded></item></channel>
