CFS Faculty Honors

Dr.  Danita Kelley was selected as the regional and state Outstanding Dietetic Educator for 2006.

Dr. Karen Mason was selected to represent the College of Health and Human Services at the 2007 Teaching Scholars Institute (TSI).  This is an honor originating from the Office of the Provost and the Deans of each college at WKU.   The Teaching Scholars Institute (TSI) is a faculty development project intended to provide recognition for excellence in instruction.  It is the product of a joint effort of Murray State University, Western Kentucky University, and the University of Tennessee at Martin.  One goal is to bring good teachers together in a collaborative cross-institutional enviroment ot share and learn from one another about best practices in the classroom.  Only 5-7 faculty are selected from each institution to attend TSI annually.  We are very proud that Dr. Mason was chosen this year.
