MATHEMATICS PLACEMENT CRITERIA To be qualified to take Mathematics 116 you should have (1) two years of high school algebra and either (a) an algebra score of at least 14 on the Math Placement Exam or (b) a Math ACT score of at least 22 and a GPA of at least 3.0 in high school algebra. OR (2) DMA 096C (Math 096 or Math 100) with a grade of C or better. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: If you qualify to enroll in Math 116 and you meet any of the following conditions, you must (1) MPE score of 14 or higher, but Math ACT score below 18 To be qualified to take Mathematics 117 you should have (1) four years of high school mathematics from the pre-college curriculum, including two years of algebra and geometry (or Advanced Integrated Math 1, 2 and 3), (a) an algebra score of at least 18 on the Math Placement Exam and OR (2) Math 116 with a grade of C or better. ___________________________________________________________________ To be qualified to take Mathematics 118 you should have (1) three years of high school mathematics from the pre-college curriculum, including two years of algebra and geometry (or Advanced Integrated Math 1, 2 and 3), and a) an algebra score of
