The AMS Department will provide technical and managerial education that will prepare graduates for professional careers and advanced education. Emphasis is placed on developing students' ability to solve problems while instilling a commitment to lifelong learning and ethical practices in the work place. Through applied research, technical assistance, and training, the department will continually develop strategic partnerships with business, professional societies, civic organizations, and other educational institutions.
