About the Kentucky Feminist Writers
Series
# 1:
WRITING WHO WE ARE: Poems by Kentucky Feminists , the first in the series (first printing 1999), was a success! The editors, Elizabeth Oakes and Jane Olmsted, have extended the book into a series entitled KENTUCKY
FEMINIST WRITERS SERIES. This series will provide an excellent
opportunity for Kentucky writers to have their original works published.
# 2:
The second volume, TELLING
STORIES: Fiction by Kentucky Feminists, was published
in November, 2001. The stories were selected submissions from across
Kentucky.
#3:
For our third volume, I to I: Life Writing by Kentucky
Feminists, we invited contributions of essays/personal narratives. The
result? Some amazing "life writing" that's impossible to put
down.
Here's a sign from Books
a Million in Owensboro, showing WWWA as #2 Bestseller!
