Below you will find information on locating other resources of interest to families and educators of gifted and talented children. This list is non-comprehensive, and will be updated as often as possible. (Please note that KAGE provides this as a source of information, and does not necessarily endorse anything found on the sites or discussed on the LISTSERVs. Also, websites come and go and move - if you know of a site listed below that has changed or no longer exists, please contact the KAGE office at kage@wku.edu. Thanks!)

The Kentucky Advisory Council for Gifted and Talented Education and Kentucky Department of Education have compiled a handbook of articles and other resources of interest to educators and families of gifted children. The handbook is intended to aid in the implementation of gifted and talented services that districts provide to Kentucky's gifted students. To read about and download this resource click here and THANK YOU to the council members who have worked so hard on this handbook!

GIFTED EDUCATION WEEK IN KENTUCKY was February 20-26, 2011, but NOW is always a good time to open positive dialogues with key decision makers, parents, local officials, and community members. For a list of activities YOU can do in your community to increase awareness of gifted education click here or contact the KAGE office.
