Western Kentucky University, 179 Jones-Jaggers Hall, Bowling Green, KY 42101  (270) 745-4424

The Center for Mathematics, Science and Environmental Education at Western Kentucky University provides a formal structure through which the faculty of the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences and Ogden College of Science, Technology and Health work in partnership with public school personnel and other members of the community on teacher training, program development, regional service, and research in mathematics, science, and environmental education.

The Center is a place to which people can turn for information and guidance about a broad range of mathematics, science, and environmental concerns within the university setting, in public schools and the local community, as well as in the state, the region, and the international community.

To accomplish its mission, the Center coordinates the development of instructional materials, offers professional development workshops for hundreds of pre-service and in-service teachers each year, and maintains a library of instructional materials available on loan.

The CMSEE is a member of the Kentucky University
