Many students choose to begin their college career at WKU @ South Campus because of the supportive environment, the excellent parking and the flexible course schedule which includes both pre-college and college level course work. Of course, students also select WKU @ South Campus because of the excellent two-year college degree programs including Office Management, Manufacturing Management, Business Management, RN Nursing, Paralegal Studies and Healthcare Technology. Also, WKU admissions requirements for WKU @ South Campus are more flexible and may allow admission for students with lower high school grade point averages and/or ACT scores than would be required for Main Campus admission. ORIENTATION PROGRAM INFORMATION Students who are admitted to Bowling Green Community College @ WKU South Campus for the Spring or Fall semester will receive an invitation by mail to attend a WKU Academic Transitions Program (A-T-P). All students planning to be fulltime must make a reservation to attend an A-T-P program during which they will attend information sessions, tour the campus, take any required academic placement tests and meet with an Academic Advisor to register for classes. New students who begin their college career in the Fall semester are also encouraged to participate in the M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan Program which introduces students to our campus community and to many of the activities and opportunities college life provides. For information on this program please click: M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan ACADEMIC ADVISING Each student attending WKU @ South Campus is assigned a full-time faculty member as an Academic Advisor to assist the student in planning a successful academic program. Students may check in TopNet under “General Student Information” for the name of their Advisor during their first semester at the College. The Office of Enrollment Services also provides year round academic advising services for students of the college. UNIVERSITY EXPERIENCE WKU @ South Campus requires all new students and those who transfer to this campus with fewer than 24 hours of college credit to participate in the University Experience program.
