Within the last two years, I have co-authored two publications that examine the impact of structural variables on homicide rates.  Currently, Dr. Kanan and I are revising a fear of crime article for resubmission.  While my earlier work focused on criminological topics, my research interests have changed.  Last Spring I wrote an article that compares anti- and pro-gay groups’ estimates of the size of the gay population.  Current and future research interests focus on sexuality issues:  prostitution, stripping, and sexual orientation.
