My most recent publications have dealt with values of affluent blacks and whites and with black professors in predominantly white universities. I am currently working on an article with former grad student Harry Vogel on bulimia among college women. In 1999 and 2000 I have enjoyed working with the theses of Barbara Fellows ("An Application of Hirschi's Theory of Social Control to the Study of Partner Abuse"), Becky Ehlts ("The Process of Becoming a Songwriter"), Greg Morgan ("Attitudes Concerning Euthanasia among Protestant Denominations"), Stacey Sympson ("Attitudes toward Diversity"), Carey Brown ("Sterilization in the United States: Prevalence and Controversies"), and Brandon Ungetheim ("High School Teachers' Perceptions of School-related Violence").
