Assistant Professor; tenure track; beginning August 2008.

The Sociology Department at Western Kentucky University is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor. This is a full-time, nine-month, tenure track position to begin August 15, 2008 serving Western Kentucky University’s extended campus at Elizabethtown.

The successful applicant should have a Ph.D. in Sociology with teaching experience and training to teach required core courses in Sociological Theory, Statistics, and Research Methods. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching additional upper level courses in Sociology and for coordinating course offerings at the Western Kentucky University Elizabethtown campus.
