Faculty

The school's greatest strength is its human resources - faculty and students. The school personifies professionalism. Its 25 full-time faculty members are professionals in their fields, boasting a combined total of 245 years of experience in newspapers, magazines, advertising, broadcasting and public relations. Part-time faculty members are practicing professionals or have extensive professional experience.

Faculty members remain active through professional organizations and involvement in writing, editing, photography and consulting. Faculty members are published in general-interest and professional publications and books.

School of Journalism & Broadcasting faculty are committed to the success of their students. All full-time faculty members advise students on a one-on-one basis and spend more hours outside the classroom talking with students than they do inside the classroom lecturing. The heart of the program is the personal relationships between our students and the faculty. In short, we care!
