Henry
Hardin Cherry Award for Advertising Design Excellence in Area High Schools
Goals and Focus
In the spirit of pure and cutting-edge competition, the Henry Hardin
CherryAwards will showcase and award advancement in visual advertising
media. The
Henry Hardin Cherry Awards will promote a new standard for excellence
among student designers in the advertising print, broadcast and interactive
fields.
By seeking out only the most visionary, fresh, cutting-edge, and innovative
work in Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana high schools, the 2003 Henry
Hardin Cherry Awards hope to invigorate the high school design environment.
High School students in Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana are encouraged
to participate in the competition. Winners will be announced in the
fall of 2003 during the gala opening of the new Media and Technology
Center on the WKU campus.
