Introduction:

Purpose of the workshop: Academic writing differs from other forms you are accustomed to using, so we offer this workshop to help you eliminate common errors by providing basic rules and perspectives.

Overview of the workshop: We begin with content problems students often face during their research and writing processes. Then we work with stylistic concerns or forms that begin with words, move on to sentences and paragraphs, and conclude with a discussion of simple but often inappropriately completed items such as page numbering.
