Communication Studies
The Communication Studies curriculum promotes the responsible use of communication as a
tool for understanding in a variety of situations: one-to-one, small group, public,
organizational, intercultural and mass mediated settings. This major also prepares
students for graduate work in speech and for a variety of professional fields. Students
are encouraged to seek second majors and minors in fields such as Government, English,
Political Science, History, Religious Studies, Psychology, Teaching and many more.
