Ceramics courses develop technical, aesthetic, and conceptual skills, moving from hand-building and ceramics history to wheel throwing, the chemistry of clay and glazes, and contemporary issues in the arts and crafts, all with an emphasis on individual discovery. The ceramics studio is fully equipped and includes gas and electric kilns.
