Art history classes explore the relationship between art objects and the historical, multicultural, intercultural, philosophical, and scientific developments specific to the era in which they were created. The survey classes (ART 105 and ART 106) concentrate upon developments in aesthetics, process and iconography. Upper-level classes examine these issues in greater detail but give greater emphasis to methodology, thery and variation.
