Preparing Next Generation Nonprofit Leaders
The annual American Humanics Management Institute provides opportunities to meet students throughout the country. With tested practices and principles, students get exposure to a national network of nonprofit agencies and career options. American Humanics facilitates opportunities to test skills and experience various nonprofit roles through internships and co-curricular activities. American Humanics also provides valuable career placement services. The American Humanics Management Institute (AHMI) is an intensive educational symposium established by American Humanics in 1973, AHMI provides the capstone experience in nonprofit management and leadership education. Local and national nonprofit leaders present issues pertinent to professional leadership and engage participants through workshops, dialogues, forums and case studies. Expanded AHMI Placement Services allows local and national nonprofit executives to interview participants for internships, fellowships, and professional positions. The unique, interactive format of the Institute exposes the next generation of nonprofit leaders to the realistic experiences of a nonprofit organization.
