On behalf of Western Kentucky University I would like to thank you for your interest in American Humanics, a new and exciting program on Western's campus. Our efforts to prepare students for meaningful careers in the nonprofit sector will benefit the students and their communities.

From the moment the American Humanics (AH) program was brought to campus, people have asked, "What is American Humanics?" The mission statement provides a nice overview, "American Humanics is a national alliance of colleges, universities and nonprofit organizations dedicated to educating, preparing and certifying professionals to strengthen and lead nonprofit organizations."

As part of this national alliance of over 70 colleges and universities, Western now offers additional resources and training to prepare its students for nonprofit careers.
