Childhood Memory Story

I usually assign the rough draft for homework, with more advanced students, and give lower level students time to complete the rought draft in class.   I ask students to use their jot list along with the comments from the other students, and write a story from this experience.  The student should aim for at least 4 pages double spaced. Sometimes I get back 10 pages the next class period, and sometimes I get back 2.
