It is important to have a plot that is well developed in your story. While your partner is reading his/her story to you, listen for the answer to the following questions. Listen for strengths as well as weaknesses in the other person's writing. Remember that no one likes to hear only what they are doing wrong. We all want to be encouraged to keep doing what we are doing correct!

1.On the back of the worksheet put the events in order on the plot line. Be sure to put the climax at the proper point on the plot line, as well as the conclusion and introduction. The writer of the mystery should check to see that you caught all the major events. (Remember, anytime you are introduced to a clue that leads to solving the mystery, it is an even worthy of putting on the plot line.)2.
