Taking a Look at Music Reviews

Over the next few weeks we will be writing music reviews.  You have probably written movie reviews and book reviews so you are familiar with the purpose of reviews:  to encourage or discourage someone from watching a movie or reading a book.  Music reviews have the same purpose, but they are written in a style that differs from other reviews.
 

Select five music reviews from Rolling Stone magazine.  You will find the reviews in the section titled “Recordings.”  Choose the first review in that section because you will be expected to write something of similar length and depth.  Record titles and other important information below.
