Students are converting a short story "Sonata for Bicycle and Harp" into a video.  This "Me" segment will pique the interest of those who are focused on careers in any cluster of the motion picture industry.

Various groups will present and act out the scripts which resulted from individual scripts of each member of the class.

Students will vote on the one they wish to present to the class as a whole.

Set up Committee...will plan to work very quickly to set up scenery and props for students.  Very important!!!  These students must clean up the prompts and store them neatly in the room after each practice.

Secretary...will keep up with (1) an extra script at all times (2) all notes and directions concerning the play that are put on the board.  (one)

Warning!!!  Usually students become very engaged, very intense and very busy once they get a sense of the enormity of their role.  If anyone is caught off track or goofing off, s/he will be removed from his committee and ask to do HIP SLIP reading.  When a committee is not at work, that committee needs to be doing HIP SLIP reading for required book reports.  Please bring your novels to class each day during this project.
