American Choral Directors Association
Student Chapter

Western Kentucky University has a student chapter of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). This professional organization is specifically for those who seek to be choral directors at any level: in public school, college, church or community. The student chapter is involved in a number of activities, including hosting speakers in the field, assisting with the administration of choral events on campus, and attendance at state, regional and national choral conventions. Membership is available to all interested students.

Much is planned for the 2008-2009 year...new music education members are encouraged to join in their first semester. Keep checking back with this site, and look for signs in the department regarding ACDA membership.
