| COURSES RECENTLY TAUGHT CFS 192 Working with Young Children and Families An introductory course for those persons interested in providing services
for infants, toddlers and preschool-aged children, both with and without
disabilities, and their families. Practical experiences provided in a
field setting; students are responsible for providing their own transportation. CFS 194/294 Assessment of Young Children Overview of the assessment process, preliminary assessment skills, and
using assessment results in planning for guidance/instruction of young
children. Roles of the family in the assessment process emphasized. Practical
experiences provided in a field setting; students are responsible for
arranging their own transportation. CFS 291 Administration of Early Childhood Programs Principles and practices in organization and management of developmentally
appropriate early childhood programs. Includes managing physical, personnel,
fiscal, curricular, agency, community, and family resources. At least
12 field-based hours will be required in addition to regular course meetings.
Students are responsible for arranging their own transportation.
