The short of it: Professionally, who am I? I am a student of (and some might even say for) life, an interior designer, and an educator, in that order. I approach teaching with a combined motto of “this is my classroom” (the “this” part may be anywhere at anytime) and I expect my students to live up to their potential. Everyone has potential. It is just a matter of finding where your talents lie and tapping into them. By encouraging students to go beyond what they think they are capable of they become self-aware of their strongest talents and excel. If you understand this, then you understand me. Simple.

The long of it: The byproduct of being a student, an interior designer and an educator is the list one accumulates of where and how invaluable lessons are learned. My list, or vita, is, as it should be, a work in progress.
